Idabel Middle School proudly announces Princes'sai Johns the Support Staff Merit Award winner from the Professional Oklahoma Educator Foundation.
Mrs. Johns supports all students, teachers, and me at IMS. She makes it part of her day to help others and be a "ray of sunshine". We are blessed to have her as part of the IMS team.
I am so proud of these three ladies, Shannon Tisho, Princes'sai Johns, and Callie Threadgill. They are all outstanding employees at Idabel Middle School and represented us well at the Professional Oklahoma Educators Award Banquet. They were all selected as a finalist in their respective categories.
It is an absolute pleasure to work with them daily. Please congratulate them in person when you are at IMS.

ATTENTION 6th Grade Parents - IMS is holding a Shot Clinic at 9:00 tomorrow. We have approximately 35 students that must have the TDAP immunization. We sent home forms with the students who needed the vaccine. Please RETURN the form in the morning if your child will be receiving the shot.

I am delighted to announce that Ms. Bethany Farley, an English teacher at Idabel High School, has been selected as the Idabel Public Schools Teacher of the Year for the 2023-2024 academic year. This prestigious honor was revealed during our faculty in-service day on Friday, April 5th.
Ms. Farley has been an integral part of our educational family for nine years, and her dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to our students have made a profound impact on our school community. Through her innovative teaching methods, genuine care for her students, and involvement in various extracurricular activities, Ms. Farley embodies the qualities of an exceptional educator.
One of Ms. Farley's notable contributions is her role as the Yearbook sponsor, where she tirelessly works with students to capture and immortalize the memories of our school year.
