Dear Idabel Public Schools Community, I am delighted to announce that Ms. Bethany Farley, an English teacher at Idabel High School, has been selected as the Idabel Public Schools Teacher of the Year for the 2023-2024 academic year. This prestigious honor was revealed during our faculty in-service day on Friday, April 5th. Ms. Farley has been an integral part of our educational family for nine years, and her dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment to our students have made a profound impact on our school community. Through her innovative teaching methods, genuine care for her students, and involvement in various extracurricular activities, Ms. Farley embodies the qualities of an exceptional educator. One of Ms. Farley's notable contributions is her role as the Yearbook sponsor, where she tirelessly works with students to capture and immortalize the memories of our school year. Additionally, she serves as the Student Council sponsor, empowering our students to become leaders and advocates for positive change within our school and community. Her involvement in these activities not only enriches the educational experience of our students but also fosters a sense of belonging and pride within our school. Beyond her official roles, Ms. Farley can often be found at numerous school events, camera in hand, capturing the essence of our students' achievements, milestones, and moments of joy. Her dedication to preserving these memories not only enhances our school culture but also ensures that every student feels valued and celebrated. Ms. Farley's impact extends far beyond the walls of her classroom, touching the lives of students, colleagues, and families alike. Her unwavering dedication to excellence, coupled with her genuine care for the holistic development of our students, exemplifies the values we hold dear at Idabel Public Schools. As Superintendent, I am immensely proud to have Ms. Bethany Farley as a member of our teaching staff, and I extend my heartfelt congratulations to her on this well-deserved recognition. Her passion, commitment, and exemplary service embody the spirit of excellence that defines our school district. Please join me in congratulating Ms. Farley on being named the Idabel Public Schools Teacher of the Year for the 2023-2024 school year. Let us celebrate her achievements and continue to be inspired by her dedication to our students' success. Sincerely, Dr. Alan Bryant, Ed.D. Superintendent Idabel Public Schools
