recognized last night at the IPS Teacher of the Year Reception as Idabel Middle School's site Teacher of the Year!
Coach Steaveson has worked at IMS for 17 years. The lives she has touched and the minds she has shaped during that time is immeasurable. We are so proud to have Coach Steaveson as part of our IMS family!
Last night, Mr. McDowell was recognized at the IPS retirement ceremony. Mr. McDowell has worked at IMS for 7 years but his impact made on his students and coworkers will last a lifetime! His expertise and passion will be hard to replace. IMS loves Mr. McDowell and will truly miss everything he brings to our table! Happy Retirement!

Reminder that IMS will be dismissed from the High School today! Bus riders will load busses out back and car riders will be picked up out front of the high school!
ALL IMS STUDENTS WILL BE RELEASED FROM THE HIGH SCHOOL ON TUESDAY, APRIL 8th!
Please plan accordingly. Busses will still run, just leaving from the high school!

These are the winners of our 3rd 9 weeks drawing! Our students participated in Trivia Tuesdays and showed Warrior Pride from January - March and these lucky 11 student had their ticket pulled for our cash prizes!
IMS Cheer is holding a supplemental tryout to fill our 1 open spot for our 2025-2026 Squad. This is open to any middle school age student who will be attending Idabel Middle School next year.
There is a mandatory parent meeting at 3:30pm on Monday, April 14th.
Tryouts will be Monday, April 21st at the IMS at 3:30pm.

Mrs. Tisho's 7th grade advanced reading class created posters to represent the novel we have been reading the past few weeks. The book is called Among the Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix. Students were required to answer 6 questions about the book on colored index cards, and then choose pictures to represent the characters or events in the novel.
