Autum Bolen won again at the fair and this time with her steer! She was champion English division and Bronze overall with her heifer and now she has won grand prospect with her steer! Great job Autumn!

Yesterday we had a safety check at IHS! We locked down the school without notice and ran the drug dog through parts of the campus. I am very excited to say the dog did not find anything. IHS is a drug free campus and will remain that way! Thank you Idabel PD and Chief John Martin for your help! You guys were great. We will be seeing you all again very very soon!

Check these pictures out from lunch today at IHS! I did not attempt to make any picture look better or worse, I wanted to show you what I saw! Remember some got more lettuce or less fruit because they get to choose how much salad and fruit to get! Also know that some had already ate part of their meal before I took their picture lol! Overall it was great! There is a 5 min pass period between advisement and lunch! Lunch officially starts at 12:00. At 12:07 the last kid was served (this is just under 400 kids and several employees in 7 minute WOW)! I just wanna say thank you to all of the wonderful (Sylvia Goodwin Carolyn Janz y’all tag the rest please) lunch ladies that worked so hard to prepare and serve our kids today. You guys knocked it out of the park. I asked several kids, they all were happy and satisfied. Great things happening at Idabel!!!

When I was able to hire Brian Wall I realized that this wasn’t just a homerun, it was a grand slam for our school. Brian is one of the sharpest people I have ever met. His ACT scores are evidence to that. He scored a perfect score in math on the ACT and a 33 overall. Now he is teaching our kids math and he gives us an upper level option! We have also teamed him with upper level English teacher Bethany Farley (whim also scored a 33 on her ACT)to teach ACT prep! When we have the best scores around, these two will be two of the big reasons why. Brian is a fourth generation Idabel educator, and the son of two well-known McCurtain County educators, Craig and Gayla Wall. We are so proud to have Brian as part of the warrior family. He is already doing great work as you can see in the pictures! Go Warriors!
