I want to send a huge shout out to all of the wonderful parents of Idabel high school who came out tonight to visit with your child’s teacher. Being involved in your kid’s life does make a difference! I was told going in to today’s conference that our record attendance rate was 20%. I believed that on our very first conference we would pass that. We offered the kids an incentive to get their parents involved. Today we set a record! We doubled our previous best and had 40% of our parents show up to the conference! That is phenomenal for the high school age! It’s a great day to be a warrior! Idabel you are the best!
Come out to parent teacher conference today at IHS! Conferences begin at 3 PM and end at 9 PM. Ask your student how they can earn an incentive if you attend!!
JUST ANNOUNCED: Cross Country Regionals for Idabel High School will be held Saturday, October 19, at Waurika High School, in Waurika, Oklahoma. Girls will run at 10:00 a.m., and boys will run at 10:45 a.m. Go Warriors!

Idabel PD and McCurtain County Sherriff’s office has swept IHS campus and cleared the campus from any potential threats! Campus is now reopened and kids can come and get their personal belongings. Classes for today are cancelled and all events including National Honors induction ceremony will be postponed to a different day! Great job everyone ALL kids and all staff are safe!!

IHS will be evacuating and reunifying at Bypass Church of Christ! All students regardless if they drive or not will have to be picked up and checked out from checkout station there!
IHS has received an anonymous bomb threat via phone call. We are taking all precautions right now and evacuating. I will continue to inform parents of how they can pick up their children right now we are securing the safety of our children. We feel like we have this under control and Police is on campus!
Idabel High School will administer the ACT to the IHS juniors as part of our state assessment testing. The test will be given on April 7, 2020, at the campus of SOSU-McCurtain County. Information concerning the exam will be given out at P/T conferences on October 13, 2019.

Congratulations to the 2019-2020 Homecoming Queen 👑 Candidates, Aryza Impson, Serenity Manning, Madison Pratt, and Elizabeth Surratt. One of these beautiful young women will be crowned at Warrior Stadium during Homecoming on Friday, October 4th at 6:00 p.m.
It’s game day. Come out tonight and support your Idabel warriors at home as we take on Okmulgee in the first district game of the year. Kick off is at 7 PM, gates open at 5:30 PM. Admission is five dollars for adults and three dollars for kids. Senior citizens get in free if they are 65 or older. Go Warriors!
