Last night the Idabel Academic Team went undefeated in the McCurtain County Tournament and walked away with 1st place. Leandra LeForce also placed 2nd overall in the conference as an individual. We ended our conference meets in 3rd place. It has been an amazing year for these hard-working kids.

Today we had two wonderful ladies and survivors come and speak to the young ladies about a very important topic, breast cancer awareness. There are 3.5 million breast cancer survivors in the US. Awareness and knowledge about this topic is very important! Thank you Sheila Graham DeWitt and Dr. Adams for coming and speaking to our kids!
Huge shout out to Richard Logan IPS truancy officer, IHS attendance committee, and IHS staff! Throughout the 1st nine weeks we maintained a 97% attendance rate at IHS! Last year chronic absenteeism was a huge problem! Not this year, thanks to the great work of IPS staff! Go Warriors!

I would like to give a big shout out to Premier Medical! A couple weeks ago we started a suicide prevention campaign! We wanted to get a bracelet for every student in our school. On the bracelet is a positive, inspirational message, and a hotline number if anyone is having these types of thoughts. Yesterday, Premier Medical presented us with a check that covers the cost of these bracelets! Thank you Premier Medical for supporting the Warriors!
