Water update: We have minimal water pressure in the 200/400 halls. This gives us 4 working restrooms and hand washing stations!
IHS water update: Lambert Plumbing is working as we speak on the water line. He is hoping to have the water back on soon. In the mean time we are making provisions for a smooth school day. This year when we remodeled the bathrooms we put the water-less urinals in all boys bathrooms. Our maintenance director is hooking up water hoses from the ball field so that he can flush the commodes throughout the day. We have germ-ex and hand sanitizer in each classroom. Our cafeteria staff is providing water bottles to all students and we have allotted a specific time when all students can go and request water. I shared all of this information earlier to the student body over the intercom. We have prepackaged lunch that we will hand out during lunch. We will reassess the situation after lunch and Mr. Brown will make a decision at that time based on if the water is back on. I will keep you updated.
School is in session tomorrow at Idabel public schools. There is a water leak at the high school and we are temporarily without water but we have made some adjustments and plan to be able to have school. We will stay in contact with the plumber and keep everyone updated of any changes. Go Warriors!
