Free Tax Filing Assistance
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the IRS is partnering with the Oklahoma Department of Libraries to help disseminate information regarding the IRS-sponsored On-Line Taxes program, which allows free tax filing for middle- and lower-income citizens. On-Line Taxes can now be accessed via most libraries in Oklahoma. Using this program, any taxpayer with an income of $72,000 or less can file their federal and state taxes free of charge. There is no age limit and the program also supports non-resident returns. Tax certified volunteers are also available to answer taxpayer questions. Superintendents and other school administrators: Please share this information with the families in your district. Download an informational flyer here (pictured above). |
