Message from the OSSAA:
If ANY group (radio station, newspaper, parents, booster club, students, etc) would like to video live stream any part of an OSSAA playoff event during the 2020-21 school year, regardless of sport or length, they will need to fill out a video live streaming playoff request form. This needs to be sent to the OSSAA four (4) business days prior to the contest being played for approval.
Regardless of where the video live stream is hosted (school website, radio station website, newspaper website, social media, Facebook, YouTube, Periscope, Twitter, etc), the form must be filled out and approved before the video live stream is allowed. You can find the form on the OSSAA website under the MEDIA tab. A new form needs to be filled out for each round of the playoffs. Beginning with the 2020-21 school year, only student broadcast programs that are members of the NFHS Network will have their rights fee waived for video live streaming OSSAA playoff events.
